Hey guys its me again!! School has been crazy busy…. so my posting schedule is a mess right now but I am so happy to be on here POSTING SOMETHING!!

*Look at me actually doing something productive (practically unheard of for 2020 me)*

So lately I have actually been doing some reading (I know crazy right – I’m reading and not drowning my days in my twitter feed?? Just what in the Lucky Charms have I been eating)

…this also lead me to start thinking (IKR dangerous) and I feel like a lot of the books I’ve been reading lately are so just UN-TALKED about and UNDERRATED.

So naturally I now feel the need to shout from the rooftops about how everyone SHOULD READ THESE DANG BOOKS DAMMIT 😉

SO on to the list my book consuming fairies (I apologize in advance if your TBR is about to blow up):

White Cat by Holly Black

As a forever fan of Holly Black (I think its safe to say the Cruel Prince series has RUINED me for life) I am surprised by how much this series is NOT TALKED ABOUT!! I read White Cat a few years ago and still vividly remember how much I loved it. This book is a mind trip, its dark, its twisty, you kind of won’t know what happening but like in the best way possible?!? I just got the sequel through Paperback swap and AM SO EXCITED to start reading it. If you love Holly Black this series is a MUST read. I repeat a MUST read.

Bring Me Their Hearts by Sara Wolf

Ok… y’all this series is golden pirate loot for one reason and one reason only – the heroine in this is GOLDEN. Like seriously if you like sarcastic, snarky, makes jokes at all the wrong times type of characters than Zera is your girlll. Not to mention this book has a charming prince, magic mentors, heartless creatures, and moral struggles. SO. GOOD.

AngelFall by Susan Ee

Ok okkkkkk guys this book – THIS BOOK – so good. I mean a post apocalyptic world where angels have taken over!??! Not to mention a strong but not “in your face” tuff heroine named Penryn and a complex (fallen?) angel named Raffe whose world collides with Penryns in the most unexpected of ways – I think yes!!

Also not going to lie this book surprised me. The first 50% was good but OMG the last few chapters really took this book in a whole new direction and made it 10x better. Just finished the second book and this series is truly fabulous. If you love angels or apocalypse books, or slow burn (to the point where you will be like just kiss already dang it) than please read this. Such a good series!!

The Bridge Kingdom by Danielle L. Jensen

I feel like it took me FOREVER to finally pick up this book because I feel like I was seeing it…but no one was talking about how GOOD it was?? However when I finally picked it up DAMNNN. Like this book will MESS YOU UP and not even apologize for it. The ending has still left scars on my heart. I’m in recovery right now and may or may not have ordered the sequel from Amazon because – hey my heart apparently has a thing for being completely and unashamedly DESTROYED. Like seriously the romance, the betrayals, plus it takes place in a freakin JUNGLE. Just do yourself a favor and buy this book. Oh ya and read it now please.

The Winter King by C.L. Wilson

Ok yes the cover for this one is not the best, I know. But hear me out. The world building in this deserves MAJOR points because I was not expecting the ice powers, the weather powers, and lets not forget about the epic ice kingdom and a forest filled with deadly ice wolves…. like YES, just yes. And not to mention the romance was so angsty and slow burn but like in the best way possible??? Slow burns are my weakness and this one just had so many perfect moments and always left you wanting MORE!! Honestly probably one of my favorite books this year – so, so good.

What about you all?? Have you read any of these books? Any of them catch your eye and get added to the TBR? Let me know in the comments below!! I’d love to chat books!!
